A cherry grower needs a small-format box with bruise protection for delicate fruit. A grape exporter needs a gift-box format with handles for retail display. A citrus packer needs ventilated walls for ethylene management. One material — PP corrugated — serves all of them, but the box design is crop-specific.
PPBOXY manufactures fruit packaging boxes at our Shandong facility in formats tuned to individual crop requirements: wall thickness (2–12 mm), ventilation pattern, drainage, internal dividers, box dimensions, and printing. All boxes are made from food-grade polypropylene (FDA 21 CFR 177.1520, EU EC 1935/2004).

Q: Are PP fruit boxes food-safe?
Yes. PPBOXY’s fruit packaging boxes are manufactured from virgin food-grade polypropylene compliant with FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 and EU Regulation EC 1935/2004. The box interior is unprinted, non-toxic, and odorless.
Q: Can the boxes be used for hydrocooling?
For crops requiring hydrocooling (e.g., asparagus), PP boxes with drainage holes are compatible — the box can be submerged with the produce and lifted out with zero structural degradation.
